Introduction to Goods In Transit Insurance
Welcome to the Goods In Transit Insurance page, your go-to resource for protecting your items during transportation. At AnyQuickMove, we know that moving can be stressful, and safeguarding your belongings against unforeseen damages or losses is a top priority. That’s why we offer our Goods In Transit Insurance policy, designed to provide comprehensive coverage tailored to your specific needs.
Our Goods In Transit Insurance is available to non-commercial clients, covering damages, breakages, and losses up to €25,000. Whether you’re moving a full load or a part load, this policy ensures peace of mind during your relocation. For dedicated vehicle moves, the cost is 2.5% of the declared value, while part loads are covered at 5%, reflecting the increased risk associated with shared transit.
This insurance provides coverage for damages caused during transit, except when items have been improperly packaged by the customer or damaged during customs inspections. Additionally, claims must include proof of purchase, and a value depreciation model will be applied to determine the payout amount. For example, an item purchased for €500 depreciates to €250 after one year and to €125 after two years, as outlined in our policy terms.
It’s important to note that this insurance is subject to AnyQuickMove’s Prohibited and Restricted Items list, and only items explicitly listed on the insurance declaration form will be eligible for claims.
Below, you’ll find the full contract for our Goods In Transit Insurance policy, including all terms and conditions.
